Finally got around to putting up a blog for Yumi. Now you can see what she's been up to. The biggest news is that Yumi turned one on August 19th. She got to celebrate with all of her family and friends. She had a blast celebrating with everyone. A BIG thank you to everyone for all the wonderful and thoughtful gifts Yumi received.
Yumi is now walking about and discovering new things. The latest discovery is the kleenex box. I took my eye off of her for one second and she managed to yank out a handful of kleenex out of the box. Guess what was in her mouth! Geez...I can't imagine what she'll do when she ventures into the bathroom and finds a roll of toilet paper!

Auntie Janette was away on a trip the day we celebrated so we snuck in a pic. As you can see this is Yumi's first bite of cake. She didn't seem to like it all that much. Somebody is opening presents but it doesn't seem to be the birthday girl. But her cousin, Elijah, has stepped up to help Yumi out on her big day!
Another birthday party for Yumi but this time it's at the Spaghetti factory with Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Naomi and her 2 cousins, Eric and Stephanie.

Auntie Cathy stopped by the house to wish Yumi a happy birthday. Yumi got lots of cool clothes from Auntie Cathy and Auntie Liz. The last of the birthday parties at Spaghetti Factory. This time with Uncle Henry, Auntie Jackie and Jaylene, Auntie Mei and Uncle Georgie, Auntie Mandy, Uncle Ray and Jake, Uncle Eddie, Auntie Esther and Aaron, Uncle Tom, Auntie Roxy and Lauren.
The party was going well until the balloon flew up to the ceiling. That's when all the fun began. Lucky for Yumi, Daddy loves her very much. As he attempted many times to get the balloon back. Unfortunately the ceiling was very high and there was a ceiling fan that was posing some issues. To make a long story short, Ed was the entertainment for the whole restaurant and in the end the balloon was returned to it's rightful owner.
