Met up with Ray, Mandy and baby Jake after the playdate. We took at a look at baby Jake's newly remodelled room. It's very nice and I just love the shade of green they painted the room. It's very subtle. (My appologies, I forgot to take a
pic of the room. Next time for all you nosey people)
No this is not a cooking blog. But we were so shocked that Yumi actually ate this stuff. We made Japanese pinemushroom rice (matsutake gohan) and some Kabocha for dinner. Just extremely happy that Yumi is willing try new and different things. (Oct 7 '08)

Doesn't Patricia look radiant!! Jen & Michelle were at an awesome party too. They went to a half moon party but Jen managed to sneak in a pic with Braden! HAHAHAHAHA! (sorry it's one of those "you had to

October 11, 2008 - HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY
Yum yum! We had Thanksgiving dinner at Tom, Roxy & Lauren's house. It was a grand meal. Tons of food, wine and desserts! Shoulda wore some maternity pants! hahahaha! Yumi had fun playing with Jaylene and Lauren all night long.
October 12, 2008 - HAPPY 80th BIRTHDAY YEH-YEH!
There was a family and friends dinner at Kirin Restaurant on Cambie to celebrate Grandpa's 80th birthday. The service and food were exceptional. And for dessert they brought out those steamed buns that looked like a peach. And for something different they brought out deep fried buns as well. Of course what's a birthday without singing happy birthday in Chinese and English.
October 13, 2008 - ANOTHER TURKEY DINNER
Ed cooked up the family turkey dinner this year with the help of Helen and I. We all had to juggle looking after Yumi while cooking. It turned out to be an extra juicy turkey this year. It was an awesome meal. Not too many pics to look at only because I was too tired to run around and take 'em.
