Recap Part 3 (Aug'08 - Sept'08)

On September 13th we went out for brunch at Milestones. Yumi had crazy hair that morning. But she took a cute pic with daddy. To tame "the hair" we put a hat on her. We hit Home Depot afterwards. Doesn't Yumi just look adorable?! Of course I can say that because I am her doting mother. Hee hee!

It's a BOY!!!! Patricia and Richard are the very proud parents of their baby boy, Braden. We visted them at Women's Hospital on September 10th.

On September 7th, we all got together for Janette's birthday. Erin made a wicked 3 layer cake for the occaision. There's Yumi giving everything in sight to Auntie Janette. Check out Yeh Yeh on the couch. Too much cake? The kids don't care. They're all over him. This shot woulda been really nice with Auntie Helen and Yumi. But it's slightly out of focus.

August 19th was Yumi's first birthday. You can read up on all the festivities on the blog titled "FINALLY". Sorry about the dates being all over the place. I am still trying to catch up. Getting there tho.



There was a baby shower for Patricia and her hubby Richard at Ricados Restaurant on August 13, 2008. The crew from HR (old and new) and co-workers from Langara were all there to help celebrate. Yumi had a little friend, Nathan to play with. Auntie Cathy was more than happy to play with Yumi too.



Yumi got all dressed up in her "jinbeisan outfit" (a gift from Auntie Cathy when she went to Japan). We all went to the Japanese Powell Street Festival to watch Grandma sing with the Sakura Singers Choir. There was tons of great food to eat but long line ups. We stopped off for some gelato at La Casa Gelato afterwards. Got some nice pics in their sitting area. Yumi had her first taste of lemon gelato. (Aug 3, 2008)
